Marie Kondo will help you declutter your life with her new major Netflix series Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.

Transform your home into a permanently clear and clutter-free space with the incredible KonMari Method. Japan's expert declutterer and professional cleaner Marie Kondo will help you tidy your rooms once and for all with her inspirational step-by-step method.

The key to successful tidying is to tackle your home in the correct order, to keep only the things you really love and to do it all at once – and quickly. After that for the rest of your life you only need to choose what to keep and what to discard.

The KonMari Method will not just transform your space. Once you have your house in order you will find that your whole life will change. You can feel more confident, you can become more successful, and you can have the energy and motivation to create the life you want. You will also have the courage to move on from the negative aspects of your life: you can recognise and finish a bad relationship; you can stop feeling anxious; you can finally lose weight.

Marie Kondo's method is based on a 'once-cleaned, never-messy-again' approach. If you think that such a thing is impossible then you should definitely read this compelling book.

  • Me myself and I

    By ThadivinemissM
Ugh I’m finding it hard to get past the first few pages. If the author continues to use the words “me” “I” and “mere” I won’t be able to continue and find out what “my method” actually entails!!
  • Excellent flow, well worth the read

A great book that you'll want to finish cover to cover. Simple solutions that we just forget as we get older. Nice life lessons. A pleasure to read.

What a great book with a great attitude. Very practical and realistic. As someone who likes to be tidy I loved this book and all the ideas it has given me.
  • Begins well, but loses usefulness towards the end

The first half of this book, outlining Konmari's overarching principles of tidying and the order she recommends, is helpful. The second half has a few useful comments in it, but lots of it is waffling and, quite frankly, nonsense. I don't regret reading it and I'll refer to the first half during the act of tidying, but I'd never bother with the second half again.
  • The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying

I have really enjoyed reading this book. However, I will be reading it again and again as it gives me the urge, and the incentive to get on with ‘putting my house in order’ as Marie Kondo says. I have happily reduced my wardrobe of clothes into a much smaller, more satisfying space, by learning the joy of folding my clothes and being able to reach them easily and quickly. It is amazing to me that I am able to fold my clothes (rather than hang them on hangers) and they come out without being creased. I will continue to hang my dresses which I am happy with. I like to just slip them off the hanger. I have completely emptied my fitted wardrobe when I set out sorting the clothes that gave me joy, the first time the wardrobe has been emptied since I first lived here, and found I wanted to give the inside a fresh coat of white paint. So clean and fresh, then my clothes are ready to go inside. …. as I said, I will continue to read this book because I have other areas I am working on, kitchen and garage particularly. Thank you Marie Kondo
  • Workable minimalism

This book has a pleasant readability and really is a philosophy to de-clutter your life and keep it that way.
  • Hire a helper instead

I must have had high expectations, it just didn't deliver. Hire a house helper instead and learn from them.
